A run differential of only 12 runs certainly isn't an indicator that the team would have gone 10 games over .500 during that span. So, yeah, we've gotten lucky but we'll take it. If you can't step aside from the numbers, you'll never be able to measure the impact of guys like Einstein on a ball club. Pythagoras, WAR, OPS throw em all our and watch the games.
