And don&#039;t forget the way he broke up DP...that man can run the bases. I&#039;d like to think that Will Venable got some lesson in breaking DP from Brian Giles as i saw in a game and turned to my friend and we both said &quot;hey, just like Giles&quot;. 		<description>I think I am in the minority that agree with you about Giles.

I loved the way he went about playing the game on offense and defense. While many around him expressed their dislike for Petco, Giles never once complained about a park that is definitely unfair to left handed power hitters.

He has 2 of the 4 .300 hitting seasons in Petco history and he was the best I have ever seen at drawing a walk.

I will miss seeing him play.
