To me though, I don't like the idea of booing Trevor. It's black and white. It doesn't sit well at all. On the bright side: The team isn't playing well, could there have been a better season for Hoffman to hang it up? His struggles aren't keeping the Padres from the playoffs, and it's the final year of his deal. I agree, there are many shades of gray in this situation.
